Winter Solstice beauty roundup

It’s holiday time, and as usual I’m celebrating the party season with natural beauty products. As we appreciate the shift in the seasons of Winter Solstice and juggle festivities and fun, it’s also a good time to reflect on our health and wellbeing more. Here is our Winter roundup of what we have been enjoying this season:

I have previously found it difficult to get hold of Vegan and PETA-approved makeup in varied shades, but Benecos’ Natural Refill Palette from their Beauty ID range has become a new fixture for me. I appreciate Benecos’ attention to all-natural ingredients and dermatological testing with their products, and care for the environment with their minimal packaging. Their Florence palette for eyes, lips and cheeks has some lovely shades of dark pinks and hues to warm up Winter skin. Benecos are really leading the charge with their diverse range- they also design products for men, such as body wash, aftershave balm and sport oil- making them a one-stop shop for family gifts and treats.

When it comes to haircare this season, I have been absolutely adoring TAOH and their fresh-scented shampoo, conditioner and oil from their Christmas Gift Box hydration set. Central heating, cold weather and pollution are attribute to dull, lifeless hair so resetting things with the TAOH range has become a wonderful part of my routine. Their shampoo and conditioner make my hair (and scalp) feel zingy-fresh, smooth and deeply hydrated so I’m ready for the day, and the oil feels like an indulgent treat.

Lavera has also been a handbag staple for me this season. When the weather gets cold my skin and lips tend to chap, so I’ve been looking after them with a slathering of Lavera hand cream and lip balm. These products from their Basis Sensitiv range are quickly-absorbed, and designed to deeply nourish for support in the colder months.

Wishing you a happy, healthy and supported Winter break.
